BarnAustin, the Baby Lamb - Page 1Barn
15 April 2001
Justine has been wanting a baby lamb for some time.  Each time we drive by a pasture where she sees some, she always said "Stop and get one for me, pleeeeeze!"  Well, she finally got her wish.  I mentioned this to Bill our neighbor across the street last week and today the back door bell rang and Johnny Ray, Bill's ranch foreman,  was standing there with a baby lamb he had been bottle feeding. I think he was glad to get the chore off his hands. Justine was tickled pink!!  The lamb was born on April 10, 2001 and was just 5 days old when we took these pictures.  Justine has named him Austin. She can go "Baaahhhh" and he comes running at top speed. Austin, the baby sheep
