Bonnet's Triplets
Barn
Midget, Blue and Bell - Born 17 January 2004
Bonnet surprised us.  We were thinking she had another week to go, but she dropped them yesterday morning some time just before noon, 17 January, 2004.  We didn't notice them until about 3 in the afternoon.  The little black one was standing in the middle of the pasture and she had the other two with her in Sara's stall where she had the last batch last July.  We're thinking she had the black one by surprise in the pasture, then scurried to the horse's stall and left the black one out there.  That's where we found it.  Justine took it to her but she wanted nothing to do with it, so looks like we've got another bottle baby.  The collapsible kennel is back in the living room, and Justine's saving up her Mountain Dew bottles again.  We named the black one Midget, and the other two Blue and Bell.  Midget has been to the vet twice with an infection in his hind leg joint, but 6 shots of antibiotic didn't help, so he still has a limp.
First photo taken with all three and their momma.
