| Well, now we have TWO livestock on the farm without feathers... Johnny Ray, the foreman of our neighbor's ranch across the road, rang the back doorbell again a few nights ago and dropped off a baby goat (called a "kid"). He had been left behind when a herd of goats were taken to the auction. After naming the baby lamb Austin, she named this guy Dallas. I'm beginning to sense a pattern here... He has a slight eye infection and we removed a lot of ticks, so we're giving him Penicillin shots. He hasn't figured out what the bottle is for so we're having to force feed him the "lamnurs" formula. I hope he learns quickly! |
He's sooo sweet! |
He's got nice coloring with one white sock. |
Home on the range... er... front yard. |
Justine goes "Baaaaah!" and he perks up. |
Hopping down the front steps, that's Austin's feet up on the porch. |
Exploring the front yard. |
Next to my S-10 pickup for size comparison. |
Justine brought him in the house for a while and he took a liking to the bedspread my mom just sent us. |
He even watched a little (big) TV while he was inside. |
