| We'd been looking for a "real" flagpole for the front yard for some time. We had our eyes on a 20 foot pole set from Lowe's for some time at $128. Last weekend we checked again and the flagpole from Lowes was unavailable, so we searched the web some more and found the very same flagpole kit (same manufacturer, Annin Co., and model) at WalMart.com for $99. What we've had up out front was the top section from a Citizen's Band ground plane with a 4' wood flagpole stuck in the top of it and it was wired to the chain link fence. Justine dug the 2 ft deep hole and concreted the new pole base in yesterday and put the new pole up today, 27 August 2003. |
