Stopped by the feed store tonight for COB and they now have chicks
available. We've been thinking about getting a few for the barnyard so
I thought Id do some research to find a breed with a docile, friendly
(I spent most of my summer visits at my grandmas sprinting from house
tree to barn attempting to avoid her crabby Banty hens and cranky, big
red rooster). Anyway, I came across your web page and have spent a
of hours enjoying the pictures and information. We don't have quite the
menagerie you do - assorted cats, two elderly dogs, two geldings, and
Paso Fino mares (we just started breeding last year and will have our
baby in May). Love your web page and look forward to using your FAQ
for info and help on our new poultry addtions to our clan. Thanks for
the informaton you've made available and the personal side of your
that you've shared - again, an enjoyable and entertaining web site.

I am looking for a source of a few Aracauna chickens for fun and
and some Lavender Guineas to control the snake population. Like you, I
am employed (a Tax Preparer), and find it difficult to be home during
months of February, March, and April (the prime shipping time for
and keets). I think you are somewhere in this area and I could pick
up if possible. Please let me know if this is possible. Thanks a bunch.

Just love visiting your website. I forget how I found it, but I
I've been visiting at least once a month for about a year now. I go
to What's New and see if there are any updates to what's going on at
farm. I have a small farm, it started with guineas, then 4H chickens
a 4H goat. And, like you, if someone offers me an animal and I can
it, I usually take it. Keep up the good work and fun!

Thank you for the Ideas on the Quail barns and pens. I am trying to
start a quail farm of my own and have been trying to get some good
on how to build them.
