This is an excellent fowl site. Everything and anything you need
to know about any type of domesticated fowl is on here. The Poultry
Help Line Message Board is VERY helpful along with the Poultry FAQ. I
also enjoy the many photos on the site, the chicken trivia and fun
pages, and pretty much everything this site has to offer. :)
Pete and Justine, you two have really put up a wonderful, family
friendly site that everyone can enjoy.
Thanks,

We

I just logged back onto your website and was very sad to hear
about
your stroke. I can't tell you how much your step by step barn and cage
construction helped this city girl understand how to build right and
furthered
my enjoyment of raising chickens. And to top it off, I am a native
Texan
in my 21st year in the frozen north. Your Texas stuff makes me
homesick.
When we retire, we will return to Brenham, and I hope to get to work
building
a chicken coop the first thing! Hope your recovery is as close to 100%

Today, I have found your site and bookmarked the glossary
section (since
I am a potential Chicken/Hen Owner). I may purchase a Chick this month,
to raise as a pet. We have an indoor female Rabbit, Rat Girl, and
(island-blue
coloured) male Parakeet. With three children (and home-schooling), we
need
to have a variety in our Life! So very sorry to hear of your medical
condition.
My father just had a stroke this weekend. The Medical facilities (in
this
area) are not equipted to handle such condition. His health has
worsened
yet, finally they will transfer him to an Urban, Metro Hospital
equipted
with Physicans and the Technology to assist. The outlook is poor. I had
taken a Stroke/Heart Disease course for Health Care Professionals this
year. The prognosis is so much greater when treated just after the
attack.
If he, or others, would acquaint themselves with the info prior to
having
the condition and prior to reaching the later years of life- death
could
be avoided in many, many cases. Treatment for Stroke needs to be
implemented
with-in THREE HOURS of attack. Many Men are affraid to admit the pain,
and the sudden lack-of-control they face in crisis. I wish You well!
Thank
You for your informative site.
