In August, 2002 we cleaned out a pen and gave them some room by moving them from they breeder cages.

Japanese are one of the true Bantams, as they are not miniature versions of a standard breed, but a breed in themselves.	We got our start with this breed with a trio from Shannon Miller of Miller Poultry Farm in Manchester, Tennessee. We only had one mottled hen before Shannon was nice enough to trade us a nice trio. We have since hatched out several more.
