Justine's New Flower bed - April 2002

The new flower bed right after it was framed. It's along one wall of our workshop in the back yard.	Justine made the picket fence background and I helped her put it up with anchors in the cement blocks.
We lapped the landscape timbers to add strength. A DeWalt Reciprocating saw was used to cut the timbers.	Here's how we lapped the corners. There are 12 inch landscaping timber screws through the whole height of the timbers to keep them from shifting and steel rods driven into the ground every 4 feet to hold it in place.
Justine made this sign for it.	Chicken Crossing ! We found this sign at Tractor Supply and just had to get it even though the chickens can't get into the gardens any more due to the new chain link fence.
