| Justine was getting tired of having the saddles and other horse tack in the kitchen, laundry room and elsewhere in the house... We decided to make a room for the horse equipment. We ordered a building kit from Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse. It's called the Bradford Model and is 8 foot by 12 foot. All the pieces came pre-cut and ready to assemble. It took one day to build the floor using treated 2x4s and plywood. Two more days to put up the walls and roof. Another day to shingle the roof and install the trim, and another to build the interior fixtures and caulk the windows and doors and touch up the paint on everything. We located it right behind the workshop and gardening room. |

After 4 days of work, there it is! Sorry we didn't get a chance to document the actual construction steps, but we stayed quite busy trying to get it done. |
The windows were purchased on clearance and didn't come with the building kit. |
