Alan & Sharen Kukla - Chugiak, Alaska

Alan just ordered Barred Rock eggs from us and sent us photos of his house and chicken coop in Chugiak, Alaska.  Sure is GREEN for Alaska.  The first two photos were taken in 2003 (must have been August?)

Barred Rock Chicks Hatched 02 July 2004
We had a very successful hatch and all the neighborhood kids loved it. Out of 27 eggs set, we hatched 16 chicks.
Looking forward to strutting some "Texas Chicks" around our Alaska neighborhood. We expect to have "Texas-size eggs" come December. It was fun doing business with you and for sure, we'll do it again sometime.

"I don't know which is Brewster!, They are all healthy looking birds, however, none are crowing yet.
The first to crow will become Brewster, & the others must go to the stew pot. I'm giving them all
equal time worth of voice lessons, so its a fair competition." October, 2004
