Pygmy kids romp in the back yard
It was such a pretty day, sunny and in the 70's, that we decided to let the kids come in the yard and play. Little Bill, the daddy, was having a fit trying to get into the yard.
Bonnet caring for her twins
Bonnets twin kids are less than 24 hours old. We named them Pepe (the black one) after Pepe LePew, the cartoon skunk, and George W., after President George W. Bush.
Yep, this one smells like mine
We put a few drops of green food coloring on George W's head so we could tell the white kids apart and Bonnet got some on her side.
So does this one...
I think her babies are getting tired. She turned out to be a great mom and she's constantly watching over them.
Pepe LePew has blue eyes
Here's Pepe, the only female of the 5 babies.
She has blue eyes like here momma.
Prancer, the runt is doing much better
This is "Prancer", one of Daisy's Christmas triplets that we're raising in the house on a bottle.  He was so weak when born that he couldn't even hold his head up, but he's doing great now !
Donder, jumping around
This is "Donder", another of the Christmas triplets.
Donder means "Thunder" in German.
Blitzen, ready for a nap.
This one is "Blitzen" the last of the triplets.
Blitzen means "Lightning" in German.
Donder's getting tired, too.
Donder looks like he's getting tired from all the excitement.
They're finally wore out and ready for a nap.
Donder and Blitzen wore out and ready for a nap.
